The Gulf War 20 years ago was much more scary, for fear of chemical warheads on the rockets. Now it is nerve wracking the closer you live to Gaza. The kibbutzim are fairly empty -- kids have been moved elsewhere to relieve them from the constant bombardment and continual living in bomb shelters. We in Tel Aviv are living a fairlynormal life with the daily boom or two.

Don't forget the old tricks we used with our kids when he gets stuck. 5 more bites because it has been 5 weeks since the surgery. or 1 for Uncle Bill because this is his favourite etc. If he doesn't get up and chase you around the room for that I will be shocked. :)
