I had to start a round of prednisone; today was my last high dose day - 1st time in months I had 4 hours consecutively with no pain - ran 3 hours of errands by myself... you would have thought I had won a million bucks.. I know it's short-lived, but it was sure nice to have that freedom and be able to actually finish things on my to do list. So I know how you feel, rose.

I am also disappointed in how often the students lose out to union rules. Example: My student really needs someone to walk her off the van every day, and lead her to homeroom. But my contract doesn't allow me to start before 7:25 each day, so they WILL NOT allow me to walk her to homeroom, which starts at 7:15. I think that is ridiculous. What difference could the 10 minutes actually make? I want to help my student, and work with her consistently. It's so stupid
