guys my son is in the military. And I have to say that Haydens remarks are really unfounded. This is not an easy enemy and we have to be careful. If they attack you despite your avoidance, who is to blame? It doesn't make sense that they would attack you for not doing anything.

A reason they might want to attack you if you're not doing anything is for land ownership, and seeing that you won't retaliate they might take advantage of this and exterminate you altogether. How could you resolve this solution without killing?
