((car)) I've lost so much money not being able to work...glad I have a bit of a buffer. Couldn't even sit at the computer...just lying there watching TV, going insane and being held hostage by my cats. They knew I couldn't stop them so they really went to town with destruction. I think I've turned the corner but haven't been this sick in a long time. Luckily, my daughter checked on me every day and my downstairs neighbor (a nursing student) helped as well as my neighbor across the breezeway. Yesterday was the first time I'd eaten in over two weeks. I did drink fluids, however. Just awful.

Also had to take extra heart medication due to the stress. But I'm a tough old broad and don't give up easily. Didn't want to go to the hospital for fear of getting worse. That happened to my mother-in-law. Went into the hospital with something minor and died.

Everyone do yourselves a favor and take extra vitamin C and some zinc. I'm told by a couple of doctors that this flu is bringing lots of people down for about 3 weeks and killing some. I had some antibiotics so I took them to avoid a secondary infection so it could have been worse. Trying to get strength back now.

feel sorry for him though -- he was just too inexperienced at first, and he didn't stand a chance between all the racial prejudice and the social reform he was committed to. I think some of his ideas were beneficial to the majority of the people. Glad he's against the pipeline though --- I don't think Canada should be sending our oil to the states for refining -- think we should build our own refineries and keep the jobs at home!
