Yes, which I hate. I used to use the energy saving bulbs anyways, but they replaced all the socket with these two-prong units. That way nobody can even use incandescent bulbs even if they wanted to. Problem is these fancy bulbs are almost $10.00 a pop and they do not pay for replacements

We are not getting the large quantities of snow that other areas are getting, but the deep freeze continues with it dropping down into the minus 20's tonight. This is a kiss and a curse because all this deep cold has the entire area of Georgian Bay frozen to the point of 95% or greater coverage. The cold itself has turned off our snow machine:)

I have the vehicle for it, and even i do not play around out there when the roads get ugly. I leave it to the skiers from the city to play bumper cars with each other. Our little town wrecking yard must have the largest collection of smashed up beemers and audi's in the area:)

i use trader je's frozen mixed peppers when the price of fresh is very high. they work fine. used to be one could get soup mix vegetables in a bag in the produce section, but no more. celery, parsley, carrot, parsnip, turnip. Miss that.
