If you keep him at home, he will die at home... with you worn down to nothing and him not getting the care he should. And if you have him institutionalised, yes, it will be hard on him. But you can visit often. And he will have kind people around him to care for him, 24/7.

Bit of an update for something I posted yesterday. A babbler was casting about for her next good read, and I suggested that if she is into Sci-Fi, to check out "Old Man's War" written by John Scalzi. I still stand by this as it is one of the most interesting new Sci-Fi stories that I have come across in a very long time. I find it really good that our library at the Uni has free pdf scanning on books so you do not have to waste paper
