I fondy recall these K-tel records. The tracks were cut super tight so they could fit 15-20 songs per side. The down side to this was you had to have a nice fresh stylus to track them properly of your tone-arm would forever be bounced out of the grooves.

We went to the Grand Canyon, Arches, Bridges,Canyon lands, Capital Reef National Parks; but we missed Zion and ??? I can't remember which other one we missed even after Googling) because there was an outbreak of plague in the rodent population that year (& DH is immune-supressed)

Yes, that too. But while we were in Utah that time, there was a downpour of rain like I"ve never seen before. We had to stop driving because it was raining so hard we couldn't even see the hood of our car! Then, just like that, it stopped! (weird weather!)
