I have started practising "gratitude"... not writing a journal or anything, just trying to think of something every day before I go to bed that I am thankful for.. science says it helps... there is quite a body of work out now.. Ifind it helps...

you could start by writing a bit in point form.. and maybe one little thing every night... but even if you only do it in your head, it is a help... thinking of one little good thing before bed has led to a brighter morning, I have found.. do what you want and what you can - don't make it a burden. There is no specific way to bounce back.. and there is no short cut to grief,,, whether death of a loved one or death of a long relationship, they are equally painful and you jsut muddle through as best yo can... use that support network of friends.. they are jsut waiting to be asked, because they don't know what to do/say.....
