I don't think so. Frankly, my vocabulary isn't robust enough for these puzzles. So, I identify what I can, then use the wordfinder to help find the ones I missed. Some may call it cheating, but it keeps me in the puzzle longer. *shrug*

Is using a dictionary cheating? Is giving hints cheating? Heck some might say that the stats given here is cheating. Do what you feel comfortable doing ... in the end it's just me against the puzzle ~ I know what I know, I know what new words I've learned and I know what words I got lucky with by just typing in letters and letting it rip. ;)

giving/getting hints isn't cheating because it doesn't flat out tell u the word, dictionaries isn't exactly cheating, u still have to look for the words, stats isn't cheating either, because they only say the limits and nothing else. But a word finder (hints the name) FINDS WORDS, and that is all we are doing in this puzzle. So, some can use it and not be cheating (like jemper) because they are using it AFTER they have found all the words they can and don't take credit in their minds for the computer's answers.

Ah, I think we are using the term "wordfinder" differently. The website I'm using is basically an online dictionary, though it does have some powerful search functions (give me words starting or ending with [insert letter combo]). It does NOT, however look at the puzzle and tell me what all of the words are.

Its not cheating. You still have to find the words. It just helps with some of the obtuse words and helps you spell them right. You still have to use your mind.
