medusa, i have been so ti5 lately. we had a 60th birthday party to at5tend on saturday night, so late to bed, and yesterday, we had our parish 'christmas' dinner, on st nicholas' day. we ate ourselves into oblivion. we both had a 2 hour nap in the afternoon, and fell into bed by 8:30pm to sleep through to 9am.

you can have the Expert open with babble, and firefox with other windows. Or chrome or IE or Opera or whatever you want to use

i have , usually,2 tabs open on one window of firefox, then enable dictionary on another, and lickety's list when i need it on a 3rd one. once i have finished the grid i close lickety, and if i close the enable window that's when firefox freezes.

the Expert browser allows you to have babble open, plus the Add box in which you type both the words for the puzzle and the sentences for the chat. Plus the lickety clues if you want them. Plus the resources like enable, morewords etc if you want them. All in one browser window.

it is a shame no Mac user has stepped up to adapt the Expert for Mac.
It works like a regular browser, only especially tailored for babble. Best feature is the Add Box. You just type in words and chat. When you add a single word, it goes to the grid. When you add more than one word (using space bar) it automatically knows it has to go to the chat and posts it there

Rose, not sure what you mean by right column. If you put a word into the Lickety add box it will automatically add it to your word list and the Lickety word list. It cannot be wrong so no need to delete anything.

On the right side of the expert screen you can open resources where you have a choice of help programs, one of them being Morewords. There you can find words that you need. For example you need a six letter word which Lickety shows as (for example) de6. You can type in the Morewords search box using de----. Each dashh represents a missing letter. Morewords will then give you a list of all words of six letters beginning with de. Easy.
