There are some programs that will help you do this, I think....but I have no idea how they work....another option is to ask a computer tech guy if he could take things off a floppy....would be cheaper than having him deal with the whole computer.....

i think what pen means is save the files to a floppy disc and that way, all you have to do is bring the disc to the computer tech, not the whole machine

i do not think i made myself understood. the computer with the files and a modem connection has what i want. it has a hard drive and a floppy drive. i do not know how i would connect an external hard drive to that dinosaur.
