Ah, it can take boys a little longer. Grant still lives with us, but has a job and is mostly independent. I still love having him at home though...

if it was the other way around, I wouldn't feel the same way. Caya pulls her own weight, no problem. Tim, not so much. Still needs lots of prodding and reminding to just do his few tasks. But at least the fights have diminished.

In the early '70's, I worked up by grand Forks as a County Health Nurse; & every big snow there would be an exodus of guys driving down to the Twin Cities in their pickup trucks with plows to help clear people's driveways & roads. Most of these young guys were farmers or worked in construction; & were usually laid off for the winter months.
