Yeah, hubby was supposed to bring something for supper + a bottle of wine for me. He brought partial ingredients for enchiladas and I winged the rest of it from there, turning tomato paste into tomato sauce...finding extra chicken in the freezer...but the enchiladas tasted great!

kam, sprite, my doc and i are discussing the neuro stimulators. if the test run with the probes placed on my skin works i may decide to go ahead and have the full works. the fact that the TENS works so well seems to indivate the stimulators will work well.

I am spending the morning at the local high school doing physical exams for kids doing spring sports.

I would not want to work in a place like that -- I have panic attacks over saying the wrong things to my students or not teaching them enough. I don't know what I would do if I administered the wrong meds or couldn't help a child in a medical situation.

Oh, Stiddy, all my doctors cover the NICU. They cover day service 2 weeks at a stretch, and then take night call otherwise. There are LOTS of doctors in our department. Our NICU gets the sickest and most critical kids in the area, CHOP is globally known as one of the best children's hospitals in the world. It's an amazing place.
