Yes, it's hard on everyone. I fear she didn't tell me about a couple, because when my grandson was on the way, she didn't tell me till she was quite well along - we live over 400 miles apart. I wish we were closer so I could see the kids more often!

My eldest nephew is 30 now & his folks were in Newfoundland when he was born. No Skype in those days. My dad used to post over casette tapes to him, telling him Irish folk tales. The kid was about 4 before he realised his Grandad wasn't a tape recorder!! Lol

i got romaine with chicken (i usually do braised lamb, but didnt feel like splurging the extra $2 today) with red pepper hummus, feta, tzatziki, pickled onions + other stuff i cant even remember...heh

i love having variety in my meals, so i like different flavor profiles. italian, asian, mexican, mediterranean...
