not so secret, but wee bebe is doing just fine. got a bunch of test results back + met with the genetic counselor yesterday. everything within normal ranges. one thing i am a carrier for that could be a concern, so we have to get hubby tested. if hes not a carrier as well, we are in the clear!

Oh that is just preparation in case you have a newborn who doesn't like to sleep for long stretches. By the time you get to that point, the fatigue is second nature.

Well,that depends on who you are listening to. I think being a parent is a tough job no matter what gender you get. And the "boys are easier than girls" thing often applies to adolescence. I will tell you this from experience. Boys are just as hormonal as girls at that time. They just don't bleed once a month.
