No, I've had 3 pairs made since having the operation and none of them have been comfortable. I told my dentist that somebody should come up with dentures that have a thick rubber base instead of hard plastic but he said they wouldn't work. I can't see why not - thick rubber would be much more comfortable. I'm fine with the top set - have had 2 different pairs over 17 years and never even had to wear denture adhesive to keep them in place! So comfortable.
