I think the thinner, plastic material is much better. The one they made me like that is too tight on my teeth; when I remove it, I feel like it is going to pull out my crowns. I have been using a rubber one that I got over the counter, ... not happy with either.

I cannot find a dentist that is as smart or conscientious as the one that died... makes me sad. I have crowns on both sides of my mouth, so which ever side I pull off, feels odd with this new splint.
