Christine - yep, got 'em all! :D Had no idea the 5-letter was a word but tried it and viola!

Minski - It is based on a 4-letter word for 12 points. You can make a 6 letter from that, then pluralize it.

Also, it is something you might do if you're also part of the group doing the 8-letter word. They often go together. :)

JKMAZ2003 - Those were the last two for me to get too. The 24 you're missing is a word you'll recognize, but probably would never use. It relates to a tree.

The 21 is not a word many would know. It's the plural of a 5-letter word. Based on points, you can determine that it must contain the D (the only letter on the board worth 2 points) and 5 other letters worth 1 point. Also, the list below is in alphabetical order, so it should become very obvious what the starting letter is. . .
