I can't go away as we have a dog and a budgie to look after, plus I haven't saved enough for a really nice holiday yet. Diane has never actually been on holiday in her entire life and I want it to be the most magical experience I can give her when we do in a couple years' time. I have many seedlings growing this year - from flowers to veggies - even planted some on yesterday in the ground. Strange thing is we are having very unusual weather here at the moment - one minute it's a mini-heatwave, the next minute it's frosty at night and they're even talking about snow tonight! Still, I'm glad you're having a summer lol. As for drinking me and bros under the table, I don't doubt that for a minute hee hee

i am actually starting to get out in the garden again. after a few abortive attempts of only 10 minutes, i went out for 40 minutes the other day. yes i know, it's not like the full day i used to put in, but every little bit helps, right?

We have a mini greenhouse. It's made of metal rods and covered by a plastic sheet. It's quite amazing, actually, how much warmth it harbours and stores. The ones that have been planted in the garden have been hardened off already so they're probably going to be fine (it's tomatoes and peppers and they look really healthy) Also I have started cutting back on food and am taking a supplement called raspberry ketones which are supposed to suppress your appetite and boost your metabolism. I don't know about the boosting, but it's certainly suppressing my appetite. I've actually lost 6 pounds in the last month!

it is not easy to find one, but there are several areas in town that do offer it - we have a basement but I do not use anything in the basement - all the living space is on the one floor - it is smaller than our former house but it has two bedrooms, living room, bathroom, dining room and kitchen on the main floor. There is a two-room apartment in the basement besides the unfinished half for the basement. We are still on a slight hill - front door and basement door both are at ground level

I've been dealing with a sick hubby; "just" a urine infection; but I was able to keep him out of the hospital this time (his MS goes wonkers whenever he gets sick; I caught it in time before his fever shot up too high & his synapses quit working.
