I have a HUGE fish pond in my back yard, which I have sadly and sorely neglected for the past three years, and which I PROMISE to never do again. It has been a two day slog of mug and ooze and algae, and I am not done.

I was glad when the heron discovered the fish in my pond (although sad) - it prompted me to turn it into a japanese maple garden feature. I was getting too old for the yearly pond maintenance and repotting water lilies etc - UGH!
