The one good thing about this cold weather is that the flowers last much longer -- I actually still have a few irises amongst the roses and all the rest. More than 25 different plaants are in flower, but all in my limited color range.

This tree is a "sweet" tart cherry, supposedly palatable raw, but I prefer truly sweet ones for eating out of hand. And yes, I am very happy (and relieved that whatever was ailing the tree is not apparent at least so far this year). We will also get massive amounts of trailing (native) blackberries this year, and that is also a real treat.
