Oh, Mother had a total hip replacement operation 3 weeks ago, against all medical advice, and she has failed to mobilise after it. I fear we are looking at nursing home for her.

She was unwell before she underwent surgery. Hence all the advice to postpone. She has been plagued by infections since the operation, and is very weak and debilitated. Worrying times.
