Whatever it is, I was fine using the copier and the laminator in August. I was fine with the chemicals in the school last year. I think it's either just hyper-sensitivity since the reaction in June, or a new person in the building. I am really hoping it's that simple.

No go, Nef -- the community is too poor and too conventional for that to fly. I can ask colleagues to be sensitive, but not the students or their families. (Rugs were cleaned in July, the once-a-year deal). It's not fragrances, per se -- it's the chemicals like detergents that get me.

Well, I still can't tolerate PineSol & DH forgot & went & bought a half gallon of the dang stuff several years ago. HE never uses it; he bought it for "ME" I guess. :-/

It actually looks a lot like rosacea... my face swells, there is erythema and edema, and if I am exposed long enough my whole body starts to swell. It's painful like a sunburn, and after a while the skin peels. I had my first epipen shot this past week... Actually not as bad as I had thought. I learned that I can use if for this, too -- not just the regular anaphylaxis.
