There are always lots of pictures of each apartment, a range of prices, and varied facilities. And you can become an Airbnb host if you like - I have about a dozen people come and stay in my home every year, always interesting and a little pin money on the side too.

If you are in a wheelchair and need to use public transport in the UK, all buses have wheelchair spaces, and rise and fall to meet the pavement. Inter city coaches are not wheelchair friend;ly at all.

There is an 'assist' service on the railways - free of charge, but must be organised in advance - staff are at each station where you start/change train/end your journey. They get you onto the traina nd intop your seat. They get you from one train to the other where you change, and they help you off the train and take you to the station exit at the end of your journey.
