I'm not a fan of either candidate, but I do like to fact check, and was curious about why Hillary is so strongly disliked. Several polls and studies boil it down to 4 things: 1) the email thing, which more than 1 investigation by Republicans concluded nothing criminal, just stupid. 2) The Benghazi issue, which she took responsibility for. 3) She's a woman. 4) Trump's repeated (and repeated) called her 'crooked Hillary' and his efforts to make her misdeeds look worse than his own. Those were the main reasons. Very few (including Trump supporters) doubt her credentials or ability to be President.

That said, I still wish we had a different choice for both parties.

i don't think the four suggested reasons below for why people don't like Hillary can be it, because other than being a woman, they are all too recent. people have disliked her for far longer than that. i think it's that people have a sense that she's very "politician-y". like, i mean, with Barack and Michelle Obama, you feel like, what you see is pretty much what you get. you feel like they speak from their hearts and you get they way they think and you feel like they are not hiding their true selves. which is the opposite of "politician-y". of course, trump also is hiding nothing, but what he has to reveal is so horrifying that in his case, it's not an advantage.
