the source of my frustration is this. i have two sisters. one of them, and i, are both major pet lovers, who do not have children, and we purchase health insurance for our pets. our other sister has 2 kids, a cat, and a dog. she is more... old school when it comes to pets. they are nice but don't want to spend too much on them. the dog is new, only had him for a little over 2 months, and he's probably like 6-7 months old. so today due to a very bad combination of circumstances, the poor pup got hit by a car, and both his front legs are broken (which i gotta say is much less bad a set of injuries than one would fear in such a case). best option is surgery to put in pins that can help make sure the bones heal right, but she can also opt to just have him in splints and hope it heals well. so now i've been delegated to raise money in a crowdfunding manner from our extended family. and i'm like, GAH. INSURANCE.

i understand hurshy... a few days ago we had to have our beloved sammy put to sleep. he was attacked by an owl we think his jaw was crushed and he had puncture wounds.. it happened in our own bak yard it was absol;utely terrible.. we had his put to sleep while we all fried .. to much to go into detail here.. we had him cremated... the total for the ordeal was t500
