Wow Rose! That is amazing. Wish I could say the same. I need two new knees but the NHS will not operate. They gave the excuse that as my BMI is high the anesthetic would be too dangerous. Strange that six months later they said I could have a gastric band operation. I asked why the anesthetic would not be dangerous then - or was it really a funding issue. The doctor eventually agreed it was funding. In the meantime I am fast becoming housebound.

On the lighter side, you may remember that I am a cricket scorer and my scorebox is on the opposite side of the ground to the pavilion. That meant that I could not get over there. My club have bought me a single seat golf buggy. It is wonderful. Freedom!
