my parents came up last weekend to give us a good night.
and our good friend (or as i call her, "the third parent") has basically lived at our house every weekend since hes been born to help out. she is an ANGEL.

usually he can get to sleep fine, then wakes up constantly throughout the night. but last night, he wouldnt let himself fall asleep...

we play white noise at night + also have a noise machine that plays a little lullaby.
i believe teething is the main culprit, but he wont take any teething toys. we have finally started giving him a dose of baby motrin at night to take the edge off, but i really dont want to resort to regularly medicating him.
its time for sleep-training.

yeah if he is uncomfortable he is probably just reacting to how he feels. I was always a fan of that lavender baby bath stuff too for babies. a nice relaxing scent and opens them up when sick. Even a baby massage. Sorry I don't want to be a buttinski lol

and on top of that, in addition to the usual motherly response of hating to hear your baby cry, i also have a touch of misophonia, and baby-crying is a trigger...so it makes me really anxious and stressed.

I have definitely been where you are right now. I adored our rocking chair. It relaxed me and babies! lol Would close my eyes and kinda meditate and rock. Please know you are not alone though. A lot of ladies go through this.

thats how i got on zoloft the first time. i KNEW i wasnt feeling right. i didnt really need anyone else to tell me -- marched right to my doc + asked for it.
