The R9 is not a common word at all. It is a scientific unit of measure that I'm certain most of the general population has never heard of. :) It is 60 points and is the plural of an 8 for 45.

Swtbtrcup - I'm sure you are using the wrong 8/45. It's just an S to make it plural. But, as I said, it's an extremely uncommon word. Only those with a science background would have a hope of finding it without doing some web searching on scientific units.

The E-8 is a compound of a 3- and a 5-letter word. Both words are extremely common; the compound is anything but!

The E8 is a compound word, and you'd never, in normal life (outside of babble, that is!) think to put them together. It's a 3=letter word followed by a 5-letter word. The 5 letter word is for 10 points.

Yes, I think so! It's in MSN's Encarta dictionary and means a circle of standing stones. Kinda makes the word "stonehenge" a bit redundant, no? :-D
