yes, a highly productive one. Thom's Place luncheon, where i started with a basic beef and veg soup, ladled off 2 serves for one attendee as she doesn't like red kidney beans or pasta, then added the bean, ladled off another 2 serves for someone else who doesn't like pasta, then cooked up the rest with the pasta to make minestrone soup. what a mind-stretcher that was.

Rob and I went for a short canoe trip yesterday and enjoyed it very much, then in the evening visited with our neighbours and caught up with them after their holiday. Was very enjoyable. I find that more often than not, I start to chat, then leave the computer for a while. Feels like I'm being rude if I'm on and off quickly, so lots of times won't even bother. Don't want someone looking for me and thinking I'm ignoring them.
