They have installed new traffic lights across the road from me and when someone presses the button to cross the road the ruddy noise that comes from them is very loud. People keep pressing the damn button every minute or so it is starting to drive me crazy.

no the lake wasn't choppy, but it was my least favourite. The Russians aren't really set up for tourism. The Moscow Kremlin was interesting, but the scenery on the cruise is the same as what we have in Canada and the palaces and churches in St Petersburg are much like anywhere else in Europe
