We are still exhausted - the surgery was Monday, and went perfectly, according to the doctor. My sweetie is feeling really good, and was even out with me shopping, and visiting with the neighbor today.

We're both feeling really positive about the eventual outcome - next Monday is the second part when they install the battery pack/controller. Then he heals for 3-6 weeks and then they *finally* program the thing. The "test fire" during surgery completely stopped his tremors, and he said it felt amazing. He was awake during most of the procedure so the surgeon could get his feedback. All looks good so far.

well, for starters kam, i am unconscious... lolll. it involves inserting a fine needle into the nerve, and sending a small amount of electricity down the needle which kills the nerve. lasts 9-12 months.

Yes!
