she WAS a miracle kitten. a driver on a road saw something fall from the clutches of a bird of prey. upon investigation, it turned out to be two tiny kittens. as it happened to be the road on which is an animal shelter, they popped them over there. they estimated that they had been born that day or the day before. a vet tech took them home to foster. one did not make it due to perhaps too much injury, but Rilla did.

harp; you have kept active in spite of your injury. They will have you do physical therapy; you will do well. (I went through 3 foot surgeries due to an on-the-job injury; ruined my ability to work in hospitals because I can't stand on my foot for more than 2 hours)

It's a broken fibula, the small bone in the leg. It is very near the ankle but none of the ankle bone broke. It was not a really clean break so I needed a plat and 5 screws. But I don't think any tendons or ligaments were torn

Dh's aunt had end-stage heart failure and just wanted to "be" and not do the cardiac training, etc. And she was afraid of the whole hospice thing. But Palliative care worked great for her.

hurshy, aortic dissections are most common in men than in women. It is a quick way to go; but if it's a slow dissection, it can be pretty painful for an hour or so.
