I shouldn't complain, really. DC is a great place to live. Free museums, geologically stable, no forest fires/major quakes/mudslides/rare tornadoes, great healthcare. It has everything except affordable housing and traffic-free roads.

The Metro is riddled with problems - poor management unfortunately. Ridership is down as a result. You should come visit next April when the cherry blossoms are out by the Jefferson memorial - that is worth seeing.

an electronic air filter on your furnace is very effective. We had one in our old house, but not in the new one - something we need to rectify. Whereas I used to have to dust about once a month (even during road construction nearby), I now have to dust about every 4 or 5 days!

personally, I believe that Hannah is a kid as she says....she gave her actual name in the chat once....i googled it and it came up as a 14 year old high school girl in the state she said that she lived....she is impulsive, somewhat attention seeking (as are a lot of kids her age) and she appears to have problems staying focused....i think she made some mistakes and made it worse by using the Sudoku ID to try to fix it....she had originally registered with that ID....when people called her SU, she said she was reregistering with an ID that included her real name, Hannah...If people don't want to talk to her, ignore her....but if she asks for clues, I won't ignore her....if she does something stupid, i will ignore her....

After my son committed suicide I was as devastated as you are, cos. We had a humanist service as we are not a particularly religious family. The man who took the service put it like this: Think of the death as a huge rock blocking your way. It seems you can't get past it but over time, and no-one can say how long, the rock moves to the side and eventually you will get past it and live again. My son died in 2005 and it has taken me all that time and the rock has finally moved. Allow 12 months before you make any huge decisions as you will not be thinking clearly at first. Meanwhile you have my condolences and my prayers.

Okay, something that *might* help is this: first get your hips & knee warmed up doing knee bends and knee to shest types of exercises. then very gently (like you're barely touching the skin) massage your foot & lower leg towards your heart.
