for pasta, you do not need an oven. If you make the dough, fill it in tiny portions (like ravioli or tortellini), you can cook it like regular pasta. About 5 mins.

There were sweet potatoes I used to buy that were shaped more like an oval/potato shape.. they were not really dark skinned, buthad an orange/yellow flesh... not the deep orange (or what I would call a yam - though I know they aren't really..) the "yams I remember I called rats because they were much more elongated and always had a "tail" on them... I may be entering my dotage ;)

60g butter or margerine
125g cornflour
salt
optional: baking powder
optional: garlic powder

preparation
Cook the potatoes or use leftover cold ones.

Bereidingswijze
1a) Hot potatoes? Mash them up and mix the butter in. Leave to cool.
Sieve the cornflour, mix with salt (and baking powder and garlic powder if you choose).
Once the potato mix has cooled off, mix with the flour mix and kneed until you have a supple dough.
Move to step 2.

1b) Leftover cold potatoes? Mash them up.
Work the butter through the cornflour with a bit of salt (and baking powder and garlic powder if you choose) until you have a crumbly texture. Mix with mashed potatoes. Continue with step 2.

2) Work the potato dough through a sieve. That way you will get a beautiful, supple and smooth dough without potato lumps.

3) Roll out the dough straight on the baking plate: the dough base remains rather floppy and is not easy to transfer.

4) Finish off your pizza with your favorite toppings. Make sure the toppings aren't too wet or fat, because that may cause the pizza base to become soggy.

5) 15 - 20 mins in oven at 200 Celsius and enjoy!

cornstarch is a very odd textured very white powder that actually makes a bit of a squeak sometimnes if you pinch it... it is a thickener... we have corn meal. but I don't think I've ever seen corn flour here... but I don't go to specialty shops.

WHOA! amazing ruby... well in short, ( keep in m ind I am an only child and 2 kids that are finally adults) i finished my B.Ed, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, helped her through that during my MA, commuting to school and back ( 100 km each way) and often times doing that twice in a day to take mum for treatments... and thenmum passed, I had the estate to dea with and then finish my MA, I did take a term off... then applied for my PhD.

I have been detained for over an hour while the canadian customs officer searched every car coming across the border. Perhaps they are doing their job. Isn't that what they are supposed to do. Canada does not have porous borders, and neither should we.

Unfortunately Molly, a lot of the people that are looking to flee are technical professionals, highly educated, subject area specialists and professionals. Canada has been making a very big move to diversify our economy, especially in the high tech area. I live in a city with one of the best comp sci universities in the world, every year the streets fill with Teslas as the execs from Silicon Valley come shopping for grads waving big cheques. Now I'm a five minute walk from Google's new Canadian headquarters and they are planning on expanding by 500% in the next decade and there is interest from a number of tech giants in locating here. There is a real potential for a brain drain coming north. The Trump base is not the future it is an echo of the past. As your nearest neighbour, largest trading partner and most staunch ally, we hope for the best for our friends to the south and sincerely respect and hope for a better future for America.

I have PTSD. My dad served from '36 thru '56 with the Royal corps of Engineers, saw all of WW2 and every horror humanity is capable of. It broke his mind. He terrorized the family and especially me, being the only boy. Th e only person I've ever feared for my life and with good reason. He was a highly trained killer. Physical and emotional violence from my first memory unti I left the house and the emotional violence carried on until he passed on. I'd wake up as a kid and he'd in a fighting stance in my room, it was like living with a nightmare and you never knew when itt would explode. Messed me up good and proper.

What psychologists would say today is that your have Trans-Generational PTSD (since the original 'T' did not directly happen to you), and that you were severely abused as a child. This is also me. Both my parents fought WWII from start to finish, both were in camps (different places at different times), both were highly trained killers, but didn't express that violence the way your father did. Mine instead, told me almost everything that happened to them, almost everything they did - in great detail, since I can remember. At 5 years old, I understood & could explain to you what the Molotov-Ribbentropp pact was. I didn't have the names, just non-aggression pact, but I had the understanding. My father was awarded the Monte Cassino Cross. For those that don't know, this was one of the most horrible, bloody battles in WWII. NEVER FORGET. NEVER LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN, beat into my head. Every telling of an experience prefaced with "You must know, that at any time, anyone, can come along and take away everything you have - your toys, books, clothes, friends, home, family, city & even country . . .' Of course, I believed them, because it happened to them. Bonkler, are hypersensitivity & hypervigilance constantly with you, as they are with me?
