today, 6 more appointments for a viewing of our house! Yesterday's 4 went well, we got even one offer already, and it is a little bit higher than our asking price. So that is a good start.

Look - offer! That's what you want. I've never had good luck selling, but I always needed to sell when the market was mediocre. I did get a good deal on the place we have now - I offered over asking too, but with a lot of conditions - and the sellers ended up having to put in a new septic system, which took the price they ended up with far below asking.

Escrow is what we do here when a house sells - they do all the paperwork and title searches and get all the financing verified, etc...don't know how else to explain it...I have always called escrow "limbo" because we never know when they'll get the paperwork done

Yes, same thing. The realtor gets all the papers signed, then the escrow company does all the "stuff." And we wait. The realtor is the important person - making sure the buyer is "qualified." So, are the plans for the tiny house moving along ok? Sounds like you'll be selling soon!
