For the D7, try thinking in 2 things. such as 2 controls. That's the base word. After that, add a suffix to make it a verb
6:48 am
shortseer
I think the D7 might mean to turn into 2 parts. e.g if you want to improve a road ... to turn it into a D4 carriageway ... then you D7 the road.
7:07 am

shortseer. Is a carriageway an English term for highway?
7:10 am
Wendrie

n : one of the two sides of a motorway where traffic travels in one direction only usually in two or three lanes
actually i'm australian ... didnt know i was using a uk-only word. We convicts might have been kicked out of england, but we still use their terminology. Or actually we often use both uk/usa terms interchangeably eg toch/flashlight, pants/trousers, trunk/boot
7:35 am
shortseer
The sixes and sevens :
