I just spent the better part of 3 months in the hospital, first an emergency surgery and then corrective surgery - I can definitely relate to being a terrible patient. Hadn't really ever had anything done outside of having our kids, lol

Gonna have to wait till after the holidays - we're going over the hill to a friend's for Christmas, and there's snow over there!

Rbud, he has had really good success with his surgery results, but does get tired more easily - part of that is because he's also getting older! Overall, he's doing great, and has twice the energy I've had - I had a nasty fall, and then a car accident, so my body took a bit of a beating.

Rural areas are underserved, so we have to drive 60-90 minutes to get decent care.
A man fell off of a ladder today, and no med flights would come in due to bad weather, so they had to take him by ambulance - at least 90 minutes if drivers got out of their way. I hope he's ok!

Once, long ago, we had to get my cousin 90 minutes to a trauma center in Columbus OH from where he lived in rural nowhere East of there.

It's scary! Sometimes it's faster to drive your loved one - hubby's aunt had a heart episode one year, and they drove her to the neared hospital in 20 minutes - no ambulance would have even found them in that time!

i had reduced the CR oxycodone to eke it out until my new script arrived from the medical authority. when i spoke to GP today, she told me that the script had been rejected as they said i needed a review. fortunately i had been to see dr john. gp has hisletter recommending the increased dose which she was able to send off.
