:P Just asking because nobody listened to my story yesterday! Which was a little frustrating. Okay, here goes.

even though I was very happy about starting the new phase in our life earlier than planned, I was a little stressed about how to make it all work in just 4 weeks

so, rob and I talked about it. Big issues were how to store stuff and where to live between moving out here and receiving the money later... there is a weekend in between, so that makes it later

then Rob got the brilliant idea to put a small heater in the sea container, which will keep the temps above freezing and the moisture out, so everything we want to store can go into the sea container!

and we sat down and looked at trailers, made a list, and drove to the other side of the netherlands to look at a few

I called ahead, the guy on the phone seemed a little short and brusque, but hey, who cares, so we went

he turned out to be a very nice guy, who showed us about 8 trailers that had most of the features we were looking for. While checking them out, Rob and I did not seem to agree on which ones we liked best. But then we went back to the ones we liked, gave grades and lo and behold, we both had the same favorite

then talked it over with the guy, and he was willing to accept a downpayment now... AND let us take the trailer home a week earlier than we can pay the rest!

the guy said to rob that he was looking forward to seeing us after my call, lol. He loved my voice and was interested to see what woman was the owner of that voice. Warm and great, he said, and that I could earn my living with a voice like that. We told him about my volunteer work and he was like: "yep, perfect, that is what I mean". We both think that first impression is what made him offer the week's grace.

pretty good now. A lot of worries have disappeared now, with the heater and the trailer. Work is still a big issue with him, things are not good there. But I keep telling him: be true to yourself, and remember that in a few weeks we are no longer hostages to your paycheck, there will be room for working less hours or in a lower paygrade or whatever.
