fun times in oceanography class! The teacher had a few live clams left over from the lab on friday, so she added them to the saltwater tank. When she arrived this morning, she discovered that the ONE crab in the tank spent the weekend tearing the poor clams to absolute SHREDS. six white, empty shells at the bottom of the tank told the sad tale.....

This reminds me of 8th grade science class. The teacher let us all hold a large milk snake, so it was passed around to all the kiddos. Apparently it didn't sit well with the snake, so it regurgitated a half digested baby rabbit.

no, molly, no no no. She had hoped that they would all be okay in there. OF COURSE she knew the crab eats clams, but he is also regularly fed in there, so he shouldn't have needed to eat ALL SIX of them. the same way aquariums have sharks in with fish, and they all hang out
