I am CRYING laughing right now.....this morning we are required to have the students fill out a "personal risk assessment" thing - its an anonymous survey the state sends us, so they can collect data about young people, I guess. One of the sweetest students in my class raised his hand, and in absolute earnestness asked "Mrs. C, this question asked "how many physical fights have I been involved in this year?" Do I INCLUDE hockey games, or should I only count street fight type things?" I high-fived him, told him to only count non-sport related altercations. A true New Englander, that one!

my first one I finished on a basic Brother machine with a tiny harp space and it is a mess in places. I now have a straight stitch machine with a big harp so that helps. My favorite quilt I have made was just wavy lines with a walking foot, so I may do that more.
