We had an incident here where a large piece of equipment on a trailer somehow took out SIX power poles down the two blocks from here - after that was dealt with, I had no internet, either. Was on the phone for an hour and a half just waiting to talk to my internet provider to even begin to report the outage. Just this week, too. Then it was three days before I could have someone come and sort it.

plus I just changed cell phone providers after 20 years with the same one, and it took four calls and six people to register a newer phone I bought so my minutes would go onto it.
