i'm not sure if Car.eeyore has said or not, but it is a very, very sad time for her, kadresa and I. Our mother is near the end of her life's journey - its really any day now. She went into hospice this past weekend, and we are taking it day by day.

she has been succumbing to Alzheimer's for years now, so this is not unexpected - but no easier either. I swear, the first person to say "really, it's a blessing" to me is going to get a throat punch. I get what they mean - she will be free of the disease and at peace. but DO NOT tell me it's a blessing my mother died.

a beautiful, beautiful oasis at the ER was when I was sitting there, and got an email from work, saying a coworker had her baby the night before. I LEGGED it up to maternity, and I got to hold that beautiful little rosebud of a baby girl, and it was the best. therapy. ever.
