oh yeah. Just a small cut too, not the huge one they had to make before. And just a short narcose. If all goes well, they will be in and out in no time.

you'll probably need very little in the way of narcs. maybe an endone in recovery for that initial ouchy pain.

yeah, I get some in the IV and they will give me one or two pills to take home. If all goes as planned, I will not even need them. Just a paracetamol will do, I expect.

when i had my menisectomy .... my nursing colleague who was looking after me in recovery, well he took one look at my tears and he said, he just pumped in the narcs...but once i was home, i survived with just the higher dose paracetamol or ibuprofen. those two can be used at the same time as they work on different pain pathways in the body.

I am pretty sure it won't be that bad. It is just one screw they take out. Last time, it was putting in the long screw and 7 short ones, and forcing everything back in place. Much more painful.
