Babble has been "not secure" for some time. It has to do with people posting email addresses. Old code reads that as spammers.

The not secure means that the website isn't using https. Theoretically it's possible that someone could steal your babble password if you log in from a public hotspot (but unlikely)

It's kind of a long, complicated, tech geeky kind of answer to the not secure thing. I heard Dr. God was working on getting a security certificate. It is never safe, nor a good idea, to post your email address on a public website such as this.

it has nothing to do with posting your email address. It's the login form that isn't using encryption. It's something only banks and similar websites were using until a few years ago, now the browsers warn users to try to get every website to adopt encryption

hrm. I just checked. If you say you lost your password, the website sends it to you. It means they're not hashed, and that if someone hacks the website or the host, they can get the passwords for every single account (although that takes some serious hacking)

That's interesting ruru. I've had similar. It really shook me up that he had my password. I used to use the same password a few years ago for a few different sites. I hoped that rather than my ipad having malware it was a website that had been hacked to obtain my email and password. Maybe it was babble.

Well a lot of big websites have been hacked over the years, so a lot of accounts and passwords even have been stolen and sold on the black market

we have an outdoor pool year round heated to 82 degrees. and the steam rises from it when it is cold but it is so nice on sunny days to swim outdoors even when it is cold. but i think it might be too cold where you live to do this.

we have our pool heater set on 87 right now but my kid said it was cold. it is cloudy and cool today, so that probably makes it worse. it is very expensive to heat, so we only run it right at the beginning of the season and maybe some at the end.
