I used to work with the letters around the edges first.
But these days i work from the end of the alphabet upwards. (That way i can generally see all the words in the list for the letter i'm working on without having to scroll)

one of the is an S7, which confused me as i'd misread the stats and thought there were only 2x 7's in the game.

About the S7... I knew it was linguistics-related, having studied linguistics, and guessed it was similar to an S word meaning "meaning in language" (not in today's puzzle, but same word root)
