Oh, I was telling you about the dog....she is a rescue that I have had for about 10 years.....had 2 but lost one in March....he was diabetis and blind, but I loved him so much. I still cry.

Our county schools built a robotics learning lab 2 years ago. They offer week long "training/playing with electronics" during the summer but the Y would still have to be paid to keep their spots. Unfortunate but once the 12 yr old gets into high school, he should be able to sign up for classes..

This kid has been chosen by teachers to attend a 3 week summer academy each of these 4 years heâ€™s been in school. Unfortunately this year his dad didnâ€™t tell me he couldnâ€™t afford the special summer academy, so he couldnâ€™t go this year. ðŸ˜Ÿ Heâ€™s done intensive 3 week courses in videography; inventions (he â€œinventedâ€ a â€œcome along cane so his grampa -my hubby- wouldnâ€™t loose it again; and also acourse about making robotic ants that they could battle each other with . Yeah, I definitely would have found the money for summer academy for him. Heâ€™s a hard-working kid when heâ€™s interested & focused on something. Heâ€™s going for his second degree black belt this weekend too.

Sweet! My y/o took MMA classes when he was younger but they couldn't afford it later... then he went for Aikido for a season but they had to close during the summer months because they were in a steel building with no a/c... think he went back the following "opening" period but timeframe of classes did not fall in line with anyone able to take him... he was fierce, tho. One of the smallest in the classes for his age... I need to look into that again (maybe)...

I'm pretty sure both of our kids are done... Our girl child may foster/adopt but that's up for grabs... I mean the g/b child are 37/35 respectively this year and both have 2 kids who are 9, 13 16 & 20 this year (and a great on the way, lol).

Gotcha. Son has custody of 1st born and is divorced from mom of 2nd but has every other week. Good luck planning anything. Daughter has custody of 15 yr old (as the 19 yr old is no longer under her umbrella aside from insurance...

its been a tough year. they put me in charge of the school's most hopeless boys...theyre 12-13 and read at kindergarten level.. they dont get why theyre at school. they re in 6-8 grade and behave like first grade playing with cars etc.. im glad the year is over. its been really tough.. it makes me so mad they know my home life is awful.. they did not need to do this to me at work.. i almost quit 3x and i am looking for a new job actually.. cause this is they dont pay me enough for this
