that is easy. That test gives an average over the last 3 months. The fasting one is an instant one. Both are important. You should check yourself 3 times a day and keep a chart.

honey, if you have moments of 12 and moments of 4, and you average them, it will come out nicely in the middle. Still means you are severely ill. And yes, you have to. If you have diabetes, it has to be treated as soon as possible. And if you don't, wouldn't it be great to know for sure?

Mine was probably bad for at least two years. *yuck face* I think I didn't notice it because it was right next to the trigeminal nerve, so whenever it felt bad, I just got a migraine. LOL I still get migraines, but now they are from all the other triggers. :-)

Well, there was no feeling in the tooth itself for me, the only real clue I had was a dull ache occasionally. The only time I had an actual toothache a different tooth (why are they always the 6-year molars?) had literally cracked into four pieces after a root canal before I could get it capped...
