no i was wondering something....we have those vinyl windows in our house. we have a door that is uneven and flies come in. Have you had issues with them being in your home and hanging around the windows?

we had a problem last year where they were coming in because people would leave the door to the garage open. I bought a magnetic screen door and put there and we finally got rid of them. they do usually hang at the windows. maybe trying to get out? you can buy these sticky tape strips that stick on the windows. caught a few that way.

one summer we had horrible fruit flies on the main floor and upstairs. I tried some homemade traps and stuff. eventually went to the basement and discovered the fridge down there had died and there was rotten meat in the freezer with maggots. how do they get in a closed freezer?

They were in every grain item that was in the pantry. I had to throw out over $100 dollars of food. Now all grain products go into the freezer for a day or two then into the pantry.
