I feel like that about my cats. I've got 3 and all are rescues. One found us after she'd been abandoned and the other 2 we've had since kittens, which we'd fostered for a local animal rescue. The excuses some people give for surrendering their pets is unbelievable, but the heartache some people have when they have no choice but to give up their beloved pet is heartbreaking.
